OUR STORY
Change My Community was founded in 2013 to serve families across South Florida. In 2019, CMC launched its immigration legal program, and in 2024 CMC
became a Department of Justice (DOJ) recognized organization. Today, CMC's immigration program is led by a fully accredited representative authorized to practice before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Immigration Court, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
MISSION
The mission of Change My Community is to strengthen the families we serve through free and low-cost immigration legal services, monthly food distribution programs, and social service referrals that connect families to housing, safety, and other essential resources, helping them navigate complex systems with confidence, knowledge, and dignity.
VISION
Change My Community envisions a society in which all individuals, regardless of immigration status or economic circumstance, have equitable access to legal representation, essential resources, and the support necessary to build stable, secure futures.
