Dr. Raymond René is a retired physician and OB/GYN specialist who served as a clinical professor at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He volunteers with the Caridad Center and partners with Shaping Haiti's Youth and World Youth Served. In Haiti, he founded the Bon Samaritain Orphanage and COGA (Coumbite Grand Anse Lais).
At CMC, Dr. René founded the Health and Wellness program, where he leads health education sessions that teach community members how to manage chronic diseases and live healthy, happy lives. He also takes part in every CMC food distribution.
